My Dance with death

There’s so much on a journey of gaining a “Good Death”. Pain that seems crippling & most times unfathomable. Death & loss are some things that never change in the day to day of human life.

I have learned to finally be able to cope with loss as best I can to aid others in the journey of losing, & preparing to lose a loved one.

Becoming a Death Doula was not an easy decision, as we face our own thoughts on dying & coming to terms with helping those that could very well be by our lonesome when that time comes. Losing many in my life drove me to look into the career path of becoming an End-of-Life Doula or Midwife.

My goal is to aid those in the final stage of life be heard, have their views & opinions expressed on what they want in their final moments & even after as well as helping to soothe the stress of caregivers & families in this trying time.

A small example of some services I can provide are: Holding vigil for the dying, taking care of pre-funeral planning & aid in funeral planning, care for the deceased & aftercare for the family. There’s more that can be discussed depending on your choices. I’m here to help as much as possible.
